According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.

The mission focuses on "strange trials and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
